The Institut Du Fromage is an elite cheese education institute dedicated to spreading knowledge and understanding of specialty cheese to not only professionals in the retail and foodservice industries, but to keenly interested consumers as well.

Our goal is to elevate the discussion and information of the world’s greatest cheeses, and in doing so make cheese more accessible and available throughout the United States. We want to lower the intimidation factor by increasing the knowledge and passion of cheese purveyors, sale teams, store associates and cheesemongers. Then we teach how to use this knowledge and passion to increase customer satisfaction and drive sales.

The cheese courses taught at the Institut Du Fromage are a culmination of years of retail, restaurant and teaching experience. We combine all this experience with the most current material from cheese authors & experts and the American Cheese Society’s Body of Knowledge to create industry leading cheese courses designed to increase knowledge and motivation to sell more cheese!

Cheese Trainings in the Virtual Age

In person trainings have always been the most engaging and affective way to teach about food, but overnight the training world has shifted to virtual learning. By expanding our cheese courses into virtual trainings we will be able to continue to offer our industry leading specialty cheese education to your teams in an efficient and engaging format. As always, we will continue to offer our vast catalog of courses such as our Introductory Cheese or Charcuterie 101’s for deli or wait staff, Cheesemonger Mastery programs for your stores, cheese and beverage pairing classes, as well as ACS CCP prep courses.
